Q: What’s the most rewarding part of being a nail tech?
A: I love seeing all types of people express themselves with their nails, whether that’s a plain nude nail or a colourful design on every nail. Anything goes and it’s all about making the clients happy and reflecting who they are through our art and that’s what I find so rewarding.
Q: Name 3 HONA products you simply can’t live without!
A: PureFoundation paired with PureBond ! These have CHANGED the game with retention for some of my heavier handed clients !
White Detail Paint. It lasts me FOREVER and never chips and is the easiest white to use for French tips as it only required one coat.
The dust brush ! My clients love how soft it is and it gets rid of everything I need it to !
Q: What inspires you the most in the nail industry?
A: The nail industry constantly inspires me as it’s such an open space for anyone and everyone ! It’s such a nice industry to be in as there is any amounts of communities to communicate with different nail techs all over the world.
Q: How has HONA transformed your clients’ journeys with you?
A: Since changing over to HONA my clientele has grew larger due to clients with allergies now able to get the treatment. Not only that but PureFoundation has CHANGED the game with retention on my heavy handed clients ! Before PureFoundation I would opt for an acrylic overlay on my clients that were prone to breaks. Now they can all grow their own nails beautifully in a safer way with HONA’s PureFoundation
